Mercy Chinwo

Mercy Chinwo is a multi-talented Nigerian gospel musician, singer and songwriter.

She started her musical career by lending her vocals to musical projects by gospel music artistes such as Sammie Okposo, Joe Praize, Buchi, Chris Morgan, and Preye. Mercy Chinwo released her first single, “Testimony”, in 2015, and “Igwe” a year later.

In 2018, she was awarded the Best Gospel Artiste at the CLIMAX Awards and in 2019, at the maiden edition of the Africa Gospel Awards Festival (AGAFEST 2019) Mercy Chinwo was named winner in three categories namely Africa Gospel New Artiste of the Year, Africa Gospel Female Artiste of the Year and Africa Gospel Song of the Year (Excess Love).

JJ Hairston

James “JJ” Hairston is the leader, chief songwriter, and director of the Youthful Praise choir, known for its exuberant, urban-tinged gospel and praise & worship songs.

J.J. Hairston & YP “You Deserve It,” single was named #1 in 2017 by Billboard Magazine on four charts: The Hot Gospel Songs Chart, Hot Gospel Song Artists Chart, the Gospel Air Play Chart, and the Gospel Digital Songs Chart.

Hairston and the group have won 6 Stellar Gospel Music Awards, a Billboard Music Award, and an ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Award. JJ Hairston and Youthful Praise were also nominated for a 2018 GRAMMY for Best Gospel Performance/Song.

JJ Hairston is the CEO and founder of Jamestown Music. Hairston’s goal is to continue to develop music through this new venture that can be used as a tool for audiences everywhere to develop their personal relationship with God.
